Aspen offering Michael Turner sketchbooks, Aspen Tour print at NYCC

[ENGLISH] Aspen Comics will be offering a pair of new exclusives for this year’s New York Comic-Con 2008, including two new Michael Turner sketchbooks featuring some of Turner’s most popular recent covers and pinups from the past year and more at the Aspen Comics booth #1445. In addition to the new sketchbooks, a handful of which will be signed by Turner himself, Aspen will be offering Michael Turner original artwork featuring his Eisner-nominated covers, pinups, and interior artwork from his popular series Soulfire, Fathom, and Witchblade, along with many more exciting original pieces for sale.

Turner regrets not being able to attend the convention as he focuses on his health, recovering from recent Cancer treatments, and his return to his series, Soulfire: « It’d be great to make the trip out to New York to meet all the fans out there, as well as the retailers and my colleagues, but at this point, I feel it’s best for Aspen and myself if I spend my time recovering, and putting my primary focus on my return to Soulfire. It’s been years since I’ve been to New York and I plan to get out there as soon as I can. I hope everyone attending has a blast! »

As well as the new Michael Turner NYCC 2008 Sketchbooks, Aspen will be selling the exclusive Aspen Tour Print 2008: New York Comic Con Edition along with more of their classic Aspen prints. The Aspen Tour Print: NYCC Edition will be limited to 100 copies.

Aspen will also be selling an array of convention exclusive comic books and prints all weekend long at the Aspen Comics both #1445. For more information, please check http://www.AspenComics.com or http://www.NYComiccon.com
