Darkness/Eva: Daughter Of Dracula @ Dynamite

[ENGLISH] February 11, 2008, Runnemede, NJ – Dynamite Entertainment today released images and information concerning the next issue of the all-new DARKNESS/EVA: DAUGHTER OF DRACULA crossover mini-series. This exciting mini-series marks Dynamite’s second of three crossover events with Witchblade and The Darkness publisher Top Cow! The mini-series stars Top Cow’s Jackie Estacado, also known as The Darkness and Dynamites lethal leading lady, Eva, the Daughter of Dracula. DARKNESS/ EVA: DAUGHTER OF DRACULA #2 is scheduled for an April release.

DARKNESS/ EVA: DAUGHTER OF DRACULA is being written by Leah Moore and John Reppion (Raise the Dead, Witchblade: Shades of Gray) and features the artistic talents of Edgar (Mercenaries) Salazar, as well as an all-star roster of cover artists, including Paul (Red Sonja) Renaud, Brett (Anita Blake) Booth!

In issue #2, the crossover of dark and demonic dimensions continues as Eva and Jackie Estacado are drawn together by mysterious forces, and when they meet – darkness meets darkness and you can bet there’s going to be a fight!

Dynamite fans know Eva, the dangerous and beautiful monster hunter, from her debut in Army of Darkness issues #5 through #8 (which has been collected in the trade « Ash vs. the Monsters ») where she helped Ash battle Dracula and a horde of classic monsters including werewolves, vampires, mummies and Frankenstein’s monster. Eva next appeared in her very own one-shot from Dynamite, once again taking on her vampire ancestry as well as an all-new deadly threat to the world.
