« I Am Legion » #1 Sells Out

[ENGLISH] Devil’s Due tells us: Chicago, IL. (Feb. 20, 2009) -The first issue of the Devil’s Due Publishing and Humanoids partnership, I Am Legion, has sold out at the distributor level after being available for less than a week. It’s no surprise that this book is flying off of the stands once you see John Cassaday’s gorgeous art, and the story is going to keep everyone coming back, » says DDP President Josh Blaylock.  « It’s a beautiful, intense thriller of a comic. »

French writer, Fabien Nury, and American artists, John Cassaday and Laura Martin, teamed up to bring audiences an elaborate tale set in the WWII era and a young girl whose super power is the center of a secret experiment. The story arc spans six issues, which will be released on a monthly basis.

Guy Davis’ (PBRD) and Jerry Frissen’s (Lucha Libre) international undead hit, The Zombies That Ate the World, is now in stores. As a retailer treat, DDP has overshipped the title to participating stores.

The eight monthly issue run is the second title being released through the DDP and Humanoid publishing partnership. The series revolves around a world that has become overrun with zombies; these zombies, however, aren’t quite the traditional kind.

As a bonus, here is an eight page preview of the second issue of The Zombies That Ate the World.(preview suggested for mature readers): http://devilsdue.net/images/stories/5pgrs/Zombies02/
