New 24 Comic Book @ IDW

[ENGLISH] Fans can still get their Jack Bauer fix. This month, all-new 24 stories will keep readers on the edge of their seats as IDW Publishing releases 24: Cold Warriors. In this 48-page one-shot, Jack Bauer and Chloe O’Brian are far away from their comfort zone of Los Angeles. Instead, they find themselves at a remote communications station in Alaska during a huge snow storm where they try to stop a Russian terrorist from Jack’s past who wants to bring down all wireless communications in the U.S.. « These terrorists are former Soviet KGB agents from the old war, » says Andrew Steven Harris, 24 editor for IDW. « They’re so dangerous that after the end of the Cold War, even their own government tried to assassinate them. »

« Our partnership with IDW has been very gratifying for our division as well as for fans of the show, » stated Virginia King, Vice President of U.S. Licensing for Twentieth Century Fox Licensing & Merchandising. « The quality of the writing, the creation of original story arcs, and top-drawer illustrations are all superb and do justice to a powerful show. The graphic novels have helped fill the void as fans await the return of the show to broadcast. »

24: Cold Warriors was written by Beau Smith, who also wrote Wynonna Earp. It features art from Steve Bryant, who did the art for Athena Voltaire.
