Bluewater Productions Acquires Imaginaries

[ENGLISH] This summer Bluewater Productions adds MIke S. Miller’s IMAGINARIES — the tale of Superhero G, an imaginary friend who is forgotten about and finds himself in the ‘Imagined Nation’, the place where all imaginary friends end up when their creators stop believing in them. Written by Mike S. Miller (The Hedge Knight, Lullaby, JLA, Adventures of Superman, Wolverine) and co-written by Ben Avery (The Hedge Knight, Lullaby) this book was previouly at IMAGE COMICS.

Miller says « I’m glad to be getting Imaginaries out there again, it’s been hard waiting and watching all these awesome pages coming in and not being able to share them with the world… But I wanted to make sure it was far enough along that it wouldn’t be late once solicited. And I couldn’t be more delighted at partnering with Darren and the Bluewater gang again! Expect to see more Abacus comics coming from Bluewater soon! »

« When my 10 year old nephew saw this book a while back, he loved the characters. It is the perfect all ages book for Bluewater, very polished art with great story telling » said publisher Darren G. Davis. « I started working with Mike at my start in comics at WildStorm and it is great to work with him again ».

The IMAGINARIES series is described as: What happens to those imaginary friends, childhood superheroes, playmates and stuffed animals we all gave life to as children when we grow up and don’t need them any more? They go to the Imagined Nation. Join Superhero G as he explores this strange new world, full of the imaginings of billions of children around the world. Follow him as he meets strange and wonderful characters, the kind only a child could believe in, and discovers a new purpose for his existence unbound by the imaginings of his creator, and free to become more than even he has ever imagined before.
